Zidian is an artist born and raised in Zhejiang, China, currently studying for the Master of Fine Arts in Computational Arts at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her work currently mainly explores the intersection of humanity and computing. Through artistic practice, the multi-media use of the work shows the breadth of her creative expression, including interactive installations, audio-visual performances, and digital paintings. Most of her creative themes are about thinking about specific social phenomena, and "Hybrid Temporal Detectivism" will be the main perspective of her future artistic practice and creation. The key is to investigate the current "facts", on which the truth can be exploratory "fictionalized" and integrated with certain philosophical ideas. The final artistic fact is the presentation of this aesthetic, which is chaotic, critical, and intertwined with reality and fiction in time.

At the same time, she believes that creation is also a healing process. Ugliness, dirtiness, and mystery are hidden in allegories, trying to discover the alienated and unpleasant parts of the language of computational art. Influenced by her undergraduate studies in law, the artist subconsciously starts from the emotions and perspectives of the parties involved, and turns to explore the entire set of social logic behind these events, expressing the "untouchable truth", hoping to trigger viewers' thinking about the logic behind social issues through her works. Through the hands of artistic practice, making difficult and obscure theories closer to life, rather than putting them on the shelf, may bring answers to many confused people. Through her creative efforts, Zidian invites viewers to embark on a transformative journey of reflection and discovery. Her works encourage meaningful dialogue and promote a deeper understanding of the intricate relationship between humans and technology.
